23 ft | 1972 | Edey & Duff - Stone Horse

Price: $7500.00 USD

Branford, CT US

A well-maintained version of the classic Crocker cruiser. Designed for the rough, shoal waters and fresh breezes south and southwest of Cape Cod, the Stone Horse has the stability that comes with a full keel along with agile sailing performance. The cutter rig allows you to adjust sail easily for any strength of wind without the need for winches. She is easily single-handed, but the generous cockpit has room for 4-5. A gracefully proportioned raised deck provides more room below than other boats of this size in a comfortable cabin with V-berth, two molded seats, sink, icebox, cabin heater and plenty of storage in two quarter-berths. Her classic lines, attractive brightwork and distinctive tanbark-colored sails attract compliments in every harbor.

This boat has been well kept-up by her current and former owners. Recent improvements include new deck fan, refreshed deck paint, sealed and varnished companionway hatch boards, standing rigging, running rigging, a GPS unit on extending arm to be visible from the helm, a Dutchman flaking system for the mainsail, new foam in the V-berth cushions, and sail covers and new cabin rug.

She is a blast to sail. Owners are selling her because they have purchased a bigger boat.

She is a Coast Guard Documented Vessel and is trailerable. She is 28' in length with boomkin and bowsprit.
